Our Team
Our team is a group of travel-loving problem solvers with a knack for making your travel planning easier. Klondike Travel is led by Carmen, while Andrea manages our sister company, Yukon Tours.
Carmen, Owner
As the owner and manager of Klondike Travel & Yukon Tours in Whitehorse Yukon, Carmen was integral in building the business from a hobby to the most progressive travel company in the Yukon.
Proud to operate on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, Carmen’s entrepreneurial spirit and love of the North have driven her to continue to learn and grow a small business in an ever-evolving industry, often against the odds and with nothing more than the will to do the best job possible.
Living on a gold claim in her youth, hunting & fishing, exploring, foraging, and hiking, often on her own with the family dog, taught her respect for the land, the history of those who were there before us, and the peace that being in the moment can bring.
Being an entrepreneur fills Carmen’s cup with much personal and business satisfaction, but her secret happy place is fishing on the lakes and streams or spoiling her two dogs, Johnny & June.
Laurie
Corporate Account & Groups Manager
Laurie graduated with distinction from the Tourism & Travel program at Algonquin College in Ottawa.
Laurie moved to the Yukon in March of 2020 and joined the Klondike Travel & Yukon Tours team as the Corporate Travel Consultant. Laurie has embraced the Yukon lifestyle and bikes to our office year-round in all weather!
Angie
Leisure Travel Expert
Working as a professional travel agent since 1994, Angie has spent her entire career serving customers by anticipating and effectively seeing to their needs.
Angie works remotely from home with her family of fur-babies and love of all things travel.
Roxy
Airfare Expert
Travel is a passion for Roxy. Leave the organization and research to her and from the moment you start communicating until after you return home, she aims to ensure your experience is memorable, enjoyable and more than you expected.
Roxy balances family and work life by working remotely from home regular business hours.
